Longest Night Service of Hope and Comfort

Monday, December 19, 2011 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church - East Avenue at Stirling, Kitchener

Christmas is a season of joy for most, but for some it can be painful as they deal with loss or personal struggle. Perhaps it’s just a time that has always been difficult.

Please join us on this longest night. This time together in God’s Word, prayer and music acknowledges that His presence is for those who mourn, for those who struggle -- and that God’s Word comes to shine light into our darkness.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
A time for visiting will follow.

Tree of Remembrance and Hope

In helping our community and congregation to process their grief, we have set up a special Christmas "Tree of Remembrance and Hope". Please feel free to take a ribbon from the box and tie it on the tree, if you wish you can even write the name of a loved one on the ribbon and tie it to the tree. In this way the loss is recognized and another step in the journey of healing and hope is made.

Here is a PDF Poster with this information if you would like to print it off and display it.
