Chancel and Altar of Holy Cross Church
Holy Cross Church is contacting couples who were married at our altar and are celebrating 5-year increments of their anniversary. In other words, those married in a year ending in '03 or '08 (now marking 5th, 10th, 15th, etc., annivesaries) are being invited to take part in our "Marriage Celebration Sunday" on June 1 in our services at 8:30 and 11:00.
We want to recognize God's blessing in keeping these husbands and wives united and strong. We want to thank Him for all the joy they've brought to their families and many others. And we want to gather around songs and preaching that will emphasize how faith in Jesus Christ is a powerful force for good in our everyday relationships.
Those being specially invited are asked to respond by April 27 to let us know if they can be present and take part. Coursages, refreshments and public prayers will be prepared to add to the day.
