Summer Worship Schedule Begins June 27th

Sunday Services at 9:30 a.m.
During the summer we'll move to one single Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. Our Sunday School and Bible Classes are on break at this time until school resumes.

Monday Services at 7:00 p.m.
We offer these Monday evening services throughout the year. They especially benefit people away at cottages or traveling on summer weekends. We have them whether it's a holiday or not, so you never have to wonder! (In other words, they're not cancelled on the August Civic Holiday or on Labour Day.) Most weekend travelers are back on Mondays, and even if it's a three-day weekend, we encourage Christ's people to be back in time for these Monday evenings so you don't drift from God's Word and the fellowship of His people even in the summer.

Does it matter whether I worship in the summer?

It matters to the Lord! He encourages us to honour the Lord's Day and the worship gathering of His people (read in your Bible: Exodus 20:8-11; Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25).

It matters to you! Real faith does not look for excuses to drift away from the proclamation of God's Word, but realizes that hearing His Good News is what makes us His sheep and keeps our faith alive (read in the Bible: Matthew 4:4; John 8:47; John 10:27).

It matters to your pastors and other Christians! One of the strongest ways you can encourage those who preach the Word is by coming to hear what God gives them to say. You also encourage other believers in a strong way if you take time to be with them, to hear, sing, pray and confess together with others struggling to follow Christ in a challenging world (read in your Bible: 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Hebrews 10:25).
