Serving our Members

  • Caring callers –23 members who regularly visit 33 members.
  • Stephen Ministry - 4 trained Stephen Ministers and 2 Stephen Leaders reach out and care for members and others.
  • Adult Information Classes are held each year
  • Small Group Bible Study – are held in various homes of our members.
  • LINC  (Living in the Nurture of Christ) is a mid-week program that invites members to partake in a meal, Bible learning and response activity time.  In 2105 we have over 75 enrolled to attend.
  • Confirmation Classes have 10 Confirmands in first year and 16 Confirmands in second year.
  • Young Adults Ministry (YABS) which has around 15 and reaches out to other Young Adults through This House/Coffee House ministry
  • Youth Group which now meets every Sunday with Youth Bible Class and almost every Friday for special events such as rock climbing, camping and retreats.
  • SNL (Saturday Night Lutherans) - young families gather once a month for a meal, fun time and devotion.  They have from 20-50 attending.
  • E-100 Bible Reading program encourages  members to stay connected and grow in God’s Word.
  • Mailings of Invitations, Cards and the Vision Newsletter to all members to keep in touch.
  • CD Service and Sermon Ministry provide  a copy of services for those who are not able to attend.
  • This Sunday at Holy Cross is a weekly e-mail that is sent to 300 members and friends with Sunday services information and upcoming events.
  • Food Hampers at Thanksgiving and Christmas are  delivered to congregation families and community.
  • Men and Women’s Retreats meet once a year.
  • Christmas Caroling –carolers sing to our shut-ins.
  • Mail and Flower Delivery Ministry:  Bulletins and flowers (from festival services) are delivered by volunteers to many of our shut-ins. 
  • Journey through Grief booklets are sent to members and friends after the loss of a loved one.
