Serving Our Community

  • Beginnings Pre-School Program:  Meets Thursday mornings reaching out to pre-school children and their caregivers. 20-30 attend each week.
  • Griefshare:   Ministering to those in the community who are going through grief.  13 week seminar/ support group has between 5-12 attend.
  • December Longest Night Service is an outreach to the community at Christmas for those who struggle with loss. This year we had  56 attend.
  • Ribbon Tree of hope and remembrance reaches out to those struggling with loss.  This year the tree had 99 ribbons placed on it.
  • Mitten Tree:  Our congregation gathers hats, scarves, gloves, mitts to help those in need.  This year we collected 70 hats, 78 pairs of gloves/ mittens, 7 scarves, 4 earmuffs, 6 pairs of socks and 1 sweater.
  • Youth Community Outreach:  Rake and Run (raked leaves for neighbors), Food Drive (collected food from the neighbors), door to door flyers (handed out to homes around the church).
  • Vacation Bible School: Ministers to 150 children each summer.
  • OutDoor Sign: Reach car/walking traffic as they pass by.
  • Facebook Page: Reaches out to all through media.
  • St. John’s Kitchen:  We prepare and serve a meal to the homeless and working poor. Served over 350 meals to 300 people.
  • Marillac Place:  Ministry to homeless young mothers between the age of 16 and 25.
  • Historic St. Paul’s Community Cupboard:  Provide volunteers, funds, food, clothing to help the homeless and working poor who come for support.
  • ESL (English as a Second Language):  We supply the program, teaching and volunteers to aid those wishing to improve their English.  Over 60 reached.
  • Rotary Turkey Drive:  We provide financial aid to support those in need during Christmas.
